Yes, yes, I know Sam eventually goes off to Valinor -- otherwise known as Elf Spa Supreme (it even sounds like "valium." Everyone's _way_ too peaceful there -- eventually, but I dislike that bit so much I almost refuse to accept it. Because, see, _that_ means that he can never ever see his wife or children again, because they are not part of the Elf Blessed. What I hate is that he has to choose -- or, more precisely, that Frodo and Tolkien choose _for_ him. But of course you are free to like that ending! Most people I know do, and it is probably my endless unwillingness to accept finality that makes me hate it so. But it's like the Xena ending. I don't accept that one either. It just _isn't_, for me. Otherwise it makes me too unhappy. Oh, and I think Frodo ought to grow up and _stop_ moping. But I admit this is possibly not in his character.

dude, I like Michael Moore's political stance on most things, but I DON'T LIKE THE MAN because he thinks animal rights activists are "idiots," and that "a t-bone steak" is better for you, and has less fat/cholesterol than GRANOLA. He also said that when people talk about animal cruelty it makes him want to "kick [his] dog." So obviously he is an idiot. Look at him! He knows nothing about "health!" He is an idiot! But his political ideology is generally pretty right-on. So I say go ahead and hate him, while admitting that his political ideology is pretty right-on. IF YOU ACTUALLY WANTED MY FUCKING OPINION! I know. That's why I look so disappointed on the footage they shot of me -- I'm disappointed that I didn't get the true Simon Cowell experience. It's _not_ a new dye job Nigel has, by the way, it's that he's letting his hair go all the way white.
